EIL has executed a number of large non‐ferrous metallurgical plants relating to Alumina, Aluminium, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Titanium, Cadmium, Gallium, Magnesium, Rock Phosphate, Beach Sands, Graphite, Flourspar, Limestone, Iron Ore, Poly‐metallic nodules, Coal, Lignite etc.

Over the last few decades EIL has provided Basic & Detailed Engineering, Procurement & Tendering, Project Management, Construction Management and Commissioning services for number of projects in this field. EIL has the requisite experience to undertake complete work for such projects. EIL also provides other specialized services such as laboratory tests, bench & pilot plant test, specialist materials & maintenance services, etc apart from geology and mining services.

EIL also has Registered Qualified Person (RQP) to prepare a Mining Plan of Mining projects (for non coal and strategic minerals) for IBM approval.
